Nothing. Webpage Rotator does not collect, store, sell, or transmit your browsing history, page content, screenshots, screen or video frames, page transforms, saved site rules, saved arrangements, or extension preferences. There is no advertising, no analytics, and no behavioural tracking in the extension, and it has no server to send anything to.
Rotating a page, an image, a video, or a single element is applied locally to the page you are looking at. Nothing about the page is read out or sent anywhere.
Some features work by mirroring pixels, and they only ever start after you invoke them:
Your preferences, per-site rules, saved arrangements and panel placeholders are stored
with chrome.storage.local in the Chrome profile you are using. Webpage
Rotator's own settings never use chrome.storage.sync, so they are not copied
between computers.
One exception, stated plainly: the bundled ExtensionPay library keeps its own account
state — whether you have paid, and the related timestamps — in
chrome.storage.sync. Chrome may synchronise that between profiles you are
signed in to. That is how your purchase follows you to another computer. It contains no
page data and no payment details.
You can remove individual site rules and saved arrangements from the popup or the Settings page. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage.
Information leaves the extension in exactly two ways, and both require you to ask: a settings file you explicitly export (which excludes ExtensionPay account records), and the diagnostics report below, which only ever reaches your clipboard. Neither is transmitted anywhere.
The popup's Copy diagnostics button copies a short plain-text report to your clipboard so you can paste it into a bug report. It is produced only when you press that button and it is never sent anywhere.
It contains extension and page-structure facts: extension and Chrome versions, whether the page is rotated and by how much, flip and scale settings, window size and pixel ratio, which element scrolls, the overflow styles of the page, a rounded page height, how many videos, frames, images and canvases the page has, whether the site's own CSS conflicts with rotation, whether optional site access is granted, and a one-word code for the most recent error.
It deliberately does not contain the page's address, title, text, form values, class names, selectors, links, cookies, your settings or site rules, any stored value, any error message text, screen or camera frames, or your account, email or payment information. Counts are capped and the height is rounded so the report cannot describe one specific document.
The report includes the site's address only if you tick "Include this site's address",
and then only the scheme and host — never the path, query, or fragment, and only for
http and https pages. That checkbox is off every time the popup
opens and is never remembered, so you consent once per report rather than once forever.
You can read and edit the report before pasting it anywhere. Nothing about it is
stored.
The extension acts on the page you invoke it on, using activeTab and
scripting after a click, a menu item, or a keyboard shortcut. The broad
all-sites permission is optional, is not granted at install, and is requested only when
you turn on rotating videos inside embeds or automatic per-site rules — those have to run
inside video frames, or before you click. You can decline it, or revoke it later in
Chrome's extension settings.
Pro is a single one-time purchase, handled by ExtensionPay with Stripe. ExtensionPay may process an installation identifier and your Pro account, email, or entitlement information under its own policy. If you buy Pro, Stripe processes the payment and transaction information. Webpage Rotator never sees or stores your card details.
Those services control their own processing — see the ExtensionPay privacy policy and the Stripe privacy policy. Requests about your account or a transaction have to go to the service that holds that information.
Delete local rules and arrangements from the popup or Settings; uninstall to remove local storage; revoke optional site access in Chrome; stop an active stream from the feature itself or from Chrome's sharing controls; and copy a diagnostics report with or without your address, reading it before you paste it.
