Is Simple Zen free?

Yes. Simple Zen is free to download. An optional one-time Premium purchase ($3.99) unlocks extra features like Zen Garden, Voice Reflections, custom themes, and the Usage Dashboard. There are no subscriptions.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the premium screen in the app and tap "Restore Purchase." As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with, Premium will be restored.

Does Simple Zen collect my data?

No. Everything stays on your device — there are no accounts, no analytics, and no servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Why does it ask for permissions like Contacts or Location?

Each permission powers an optional feature (for example, Contacts for the Circle feature, or Location for place-based focus profiles) and is only requested when you use that feature. All processing happens on-device.

How do I set up the home screen launcher?

The app includes a step-by-step setup guide during onboarding. If you need to revisit it, open Settings inside the app.
