Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Simple Zen ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Simple Zen is a minimalist phone launcher designed to help reduce screen time and promote intentional device usage. The App provides a dumb phone interface, distraction delay screens, mindfulness features, and usage tracking.

License

The developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

In-App Purchases

The App offers a one-time premium upgrade for $3.99 USD (or local equivalent) that unlocks additional features including Zen Garden, Voice Reflections, Theme Customization, and Usage Dashboard. This purchase is non-consumable, processed through the Apple App Store, and can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws. You acknowledge that the App modifies your home screen experience and that you are responsible for configuring your device. The App does not delete or uninstall other applications — it provides a launcher interface and setup guidance.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The developer does not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices and iOS versions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, missed notifications, or changes to device settings made following the App's guidance.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within Simple Zen are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

Termination

The developer reserves the right to discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Your license to use the App terminates automatically if you violate these Terms.

Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Updates will be posted within the App and on this page.
